Benton County Radio Control Club
The Benton County Radio Control Club (BCRCC) mission is to promote, conduct and encourage participation and education in the activities associated with the hobby and sport of radio controlled model aircraft.
The home field of BCRCC is the Benton County Aerodrome (Brian Unwin Field) , located 6 miles north of Corvallis at the intersection of NE Arnold Ave and NW Ryals Ave in Adair Village, Oregon. The field provides pilots with a 325′ x 44′ geo-textile covered runway, along with a fenced pit area, setup stations, a small shelter, picnic tables and bleachers. Kids and adults are always welcome to visit Brain Unwin Field and flight instruction is available for people of all ages and experience levels. Club members do the majority of the maintenance of the field and facilities. Your respect for and considerate use of the field will be appreciated by all.
BCRCC is sanctioned by the Academy of Model Aeronautics (AMA). The AMA is the national association of modelers organized for the purpose of promotion, development, education, advancement, and safeguarding of aeronautical modeling activities. BCRCC and Benton County require pilots flying at the field to be current members of the AMA. AMA membership provides pilots with liability insurance to protect the life and property of everyone at the field. All types of AMA sanctioned radio controlled flight are permitted (excluding turbine).
